Blaemire Shells

The Blaemire line of Jenkins-Martin shells are meticulously recreated as exact matches to the original shells first pioneered by Allen Blaemire in the 1960s (read more about Allen here). We spent countless hours researching Allen’s methods and materials to come up with precise duplicates. The process wasn’t easy, but the results speak for themselves. You can expect these shells to produce the same deep, rich, melodic tones that made the originals instant classics and largely defined the studio sound of the 60s and 70s.

Jenkins-Martin Shells

Jenkins-Martin shells are made in the same legendary process as the Blaemire shells, but with the added twist of exciting colors, unique materials and innovative resin formulations.

Our resin technology creates endless opportunities to mix colors, sounds and finishes. Expect to see hybrid materials like glass/carbon, carbon/basalt, and even shells incorporating natural fibers like Hemp and Jute. Multi-colored shells are already in development as well as glitters, flakes and more.

All of these options amount to a seemingly endless tonal palette which can range from dark and fat to bright and crisp. It’s all in the mix.
